How would you describe your personal style? Urban chic. I like my outfit to be transitional from daytime to nighttime, so I maintain a unique style of business casual and trendy. I may go from a meeting to a basketball game to drinking cocktails with a team owner, so I find a balance.
Go-to brand: John Geiger Co. — every outfit starts with the shoes!
Go-to store: Diet Starts Monday in Washington, D.C.
I’d never be caught dead wearing: Crocs.
Biggest style icon: My client Iman Shumpert taught me the foundation of fashion, which completely transformed my style: “It’s not how you look, it’s how you feel.”
Five items in your wardrobe you couldn’t do without: John Geiger Co. shoes and socks, extended tees, dad hats, bomber jackets and skinny jeans.
When did you become interested in fashion? Growing up in Pittsburgh, I was very fashion-sheltered. I didn’t even know what Louis Vuitton was until I was 26. After becoming an NBA agent in 2012, I became immersed in a world where fashion is a major part of the culture. Like any other career, you learn the culture.
Fashion weakness: Extended tees by Daniel Patrick.
Biggest fashion regret: V-neck T-shirts.
